Clinical Supervision

Caring About People, Your Unique Way

Grounded, experiential clinical supervision for pre-licensed LPCCs pursuing LPC licensure, and for licensed therapists seeking somatic, Gestalt-informed mentorship, in Wheat Ridge and Denver, CO.

Being a therapist isn't easy.

When you step into the room as a new clinician, it's natural to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety, because moving from the safety of the classroom to sitting face-to-face with a client feels completely different.

You're uncertain what to do, you suspect your own authenticity is woefully inadequate, and your sense of professional identity wobbles.

Whether You're New to the Room or Twenty Years In

For seasoned clinicians, the work is challenging in a different way.

Our clients are maddening, endearing, challenging, and inspiring, all at once.

Unexpected emotions, confusion, or sudden doubts about your skills are completely understandable.

Sometimes all you need is validation that you're on the right track, and other times you need help building a concrete game plan.

You Need More Than Someone Telling You What to Do

Sorting through all of this takes support that helps you look honestly at what's going on.

A supervisor who tells you what to do, or asks you to conform to their way of doing things, won't get you there.

What will: a place where you can drop the mask, explore options, work through personal blocks without shame, and build genuine clinical skills.

You'll Be Supervised as a Whole Human Being

Supervision with me is an active, experiential space where you're supported as a whole human being.

As an Accredited Clinical Supervisor (ACS), I integrate the essential domains of professional practice:

  • Sense of Self: We pay deep attention to your self-awareness, emotional countertransference, and personal growth, and when old patterns, introjects, or internal friction surface in response to a client, we meet them with warmth, humor, and curiosity rather than judgment.
  • Clinical Skill and Theoretical Orientation: We move beyond abstract theory into real-world application, exploring your case conceptualization, clarifying your theoretical approach, and honing core micro-skills (active listening, intentional silence, emotional attunement, paraphrasing, somatic tracking) so you learn how to be in the room.
  • Ethical Practice and Relational Safety: Ethical practice goes far beyond rules and compliance checklists, so we give special attention to the right use of power, vulnerability, and relational safety in deep emotional and expanded-state work, plus the subtle dynamics of shadow, projection, and countertransference, so you can hold deep containers while honoring client autonomy.
  • Professional Identity: We work through ethical decision-making, mandatory disclosure compliance, and practice logistics, helping you build clean documentation and transition smoothly into confident, independent practice.

Hold Space for the Full Diversity of Your Clients

I bring a conscious, explicit focus to issues of race, power, oppression, gender, sexuality, trauma, and substance use.

Many clinicians struggle to address these systemic realities in the room.

My goal is for you to feel competent, grounded, and skilled in holding space for the full diversity of your clients' lived experiences.
